Lawn Bowling is a healthy, low-impact sport that offers our members a great environment to meet and make new friends.  Baby Point Club has six bowling lanes and welcomes members of all ages, physical abilities, and skill levels: from novice player, occasional social bowler to competitive bowler.  Our club offers complimentary coaching, free use of club bowls and other equipment.  No dress code requirement, just a pair of flat-soled shoes.  No additional cost to play, and new members are always welcome!  Our popular beer and bowl league usually starts in early May and playoffs end by early October.

Are you ready for some fun? Here is what BPC Lawn Bowling is offering our members this season.

Season details:

  1. Targeted Start Dates: May 7, 2024
  2. Targeted End Date: October 3, 2024
  3. Summer Break: No games scheduled in July or August
  4. Game Date & Time: Each team is expected to play one game per week on either Tuesday or Thursday nights.  Games start at 7:30pm, rain or shine.  Games will be postponed if the outdoor weather is deemed unsafe to proceed (ie. lightning).  The league will send out a weekly game schedule to the team captains once all the registrations are tabulated.
  5. Team Captains and team make-up: Team captains recruit their own players.  We recommend 8 players minimum per team to maximize their playing opportunities.  To avoid default, minimum 2 players must be present at game time.  It is the team captain’s responsibility to communicate the weekly game schedules to their team members.

2nd Annual Family Bowling Day

It was a beautiful day for our second annual Family Bowl Day event on June 25, 2023. More than 15 families came out for the 9-hole mini-golf-style lawn bowling, with kids’ ages ranging from 3 to 12 years old. This year, the best selfie award goes to the Taylor family. Congratulations!

A special thank you to Lorraine Bradshaw and her family; Kim Matejicek; Kyal Cook and Charlie Cook for their tremendous help in planning, coordinating and building the mini-golf courses. We hope to see you again next year.

Have a great summer!
